The Precision Instrument Support Center is responsible for the overall planning of precision instrument use and maintenance. Each year, use of precision instruments in research by on-campus and off-campus researchers increases by approximately 10%, and such instruments play an important role in research achievements reported in theses and dissertations, published journal articles and in patent applications. FCU possesses Central Taiwan’s most advanced multimode scanning probe microscope, as well as Central Taiwan’s newest cold field emission scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer.
