The Office of Research and Development (ORD) is devoted to strengthening the university’s teaching and research capabilities, assisting in administrative development plans, promoting appropriate evaluations and certification application, including department self-evaluations, university evaluations and engineering education certification, etc. In addition, the ORD is responsible for the specially designated research areas of the Science and Aeronautical Engineering Building, as well as the planned specially designated research areas in the Xue Si Building and the technology services zone in the Central Taiwan Science Park, which will focus on technology extension education and cultivation of R&D talent. It is expected that these facilities will integrate campus and external resources to accelerate and form a new platform for industry-university cooperation.
