The Business Incubation Center works to integrate university resources to provide enterprise with comprehensive technical support, and at the same time to stimulate the university’s overall R&D capability. Since its establishment in 2001, this center has assisted seven enterprises in the application of eight SBIR projects from the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Department of Industrial Technology, and achieved a passage rate of 100%. In 2004 and 2005, this center was honored with awards for outstanding incubation center manager and outstanding incubation center, respectively.
